Horizontal Spray Dryer
The Econoheat™ head design provides optimum utilization of the air stream as hot air enters the drying chamber. Mixing vanes within the head blend the atomized liquid feed with the hot air to quickly and efficiently evaporate the moisture. In combination with the HR-20 heat recovery system heat energy requirements are as low as 1400 btu per lb. water evaporated (733 kcal/kg) even when ambient air temperatures drop to -30°F (-34°C). The horizontal dryer is complete with spray chamber and integral baghouse. The FES PulseFlex™ dust collection system uses top loaded snap-in cloth bags that comply with or exceed the most rigorous emmission standards, thus increasing product yield and profitability. The ECONOHEAT™ dryer is controlled automatically by PLC and desktop PC monitoring and recording devices.
