HR-20 Heat Recovery System
The HR-20 heat recovery system is an air-to-air heat exchanger specifically designed for spray dryer applications. A typical system will reclaim up to 70% of the heat energy lost in the exhaust air from a spray drying operation. This energy savings will generally reduce the annual fuel bill by 20 to 30%. Many heat recovery systems fail due to various fouling factors found in the exhaust air stream which accumulate on the heat exchanger surface and reduce its efficiency. The HR-20 utilizes smooth stainless steel tubes for its heat exchange surface which will not trap particulates and moisture that is commonly found in exhaust air streams. When particulates or other films do accumulate on the tubes the HR-20 heat recovery unit is easily CIP cleaned from a central system.
